Think of it...
He's surrounded by fantasy characters
He's got loads of writing time because of his brill part time job - he works only 1 day a year! ( but loads of overtime available at grotty grottoes if he needs it, of course... )
He has the peace and quiet of the North Pole so his imagination can roam free
And, most importantly, he has an army of helpful elves to bring his inspirational tea!

David Mamet? Billy Wilder? Cameron Crowe?
